The renowned young Nigerian-American soprano Francesca Chiejina joins Jocelyn Freeman for a celebratory programme of Shakespeare settings to mark the 460th anniversary of the playwright’s birth. Their recital promises to transport the audience through a wide range of songs from Thomas Arne to Cecilia McDowall, culminating with Finzi’s best-loved cycle, Let Us Garlands Bring.
